Cancer Causing Toxic Chemicals in The Bottled Water We Drink



THIS IS WHAT IS IN OUR BOTTLED WATER!

Polyethylene terephthalate aka PET: a toxin that affects everyone.
According to Wikipedia PET consists of polymerized units of the monomer ethylene terephthalate, with repeating C10H8O4 units. PET is commonly recycled, and has the number "1" as its recycling symbol. It makes a good gas and fair moisture barrier, as well as a good barrier to alcohol (requires additional "barrier" treatment) and solvents. It is strong and impact-resistant. It is naturally colorless with a high transparency.
Plastic bottles made from PET are excellent barrier materials and are widely used for soft drinks (see carbonation). For certain specialty bottles, PET sandwiches an additional polyvinyl alcohol to further reduce its oxygen permeability.
Biaxially oriented PET film (often known by one of its trade names, "Mylar") can be aluminized by evaporating a thin film of metal onto it to reduce its permeability, and to make it reflective and opaque (MPET). These properties are useful in many applications, including flexible food packaging and thermal insulation, such as "space blankets". Because of its high mechanical strength, PET film is often used in tape applications, such as the carrier for magnetic tape or backing for pressure sensitive adhesive tapes. Environmental Health Perspectives in April 2010 suggested that PET might yield endocrine disruptors under conditions of common use and recommended research on this topic. Proposed mechanisms include leaching of phthalates as well as leaching of antimony. Other authors (FRANZ and WELLE) published evidence based on mathematical modeling, indicating that it is quite unlikely that PET yields endocrine disruptors in mineral water.

Toluene:
A hazardous chemical in the plastic of bottle water. Toluene also is a major key ingredient in oil (fuel, gas).  According to Wikipedia, "Toluene occurs naturally at low levels in crude oil and is usually produced in the processes of making gasoline via a catalytic reformer, in an ethylene cracker or making coke from coal. Inhaling high levels of toluene can cause death or unconsciousness. Repeatedly breathing toluene over long periods of time at work, or through deliberately "sniffing" or "huffing" glue or paint, can cause death, permanent brain damage, or depression. Repeated exposure to toluene in pregnant women may increase the risk of damage to the fetus.
Exposure to high levels of toluene may affect the kidneys, nervous system, liver, brain, and heart. Direct, prolonged contact with liquid toluene or vapor can irritate the eyes, and cause dry skin and skin rashes. Ingesting toluene can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and difficult breathing.
Exposure to low to moderate levels of toluene can cause confusion, light-headedness, dizziness, headache, fatigue, weakness, memory loss, nausea, appetite loss, coughing, wheezing, and hearing and color vision loss.
Inhalation of toluene fumes can be intoxicating, but in larger doses nausea-inducing. Toluene may enter the human system not only through vapor inhalation from the liquid evaporation, but also following soil contamination events, where human contact with soil, ingestion of contaminated groundwater or soil vapor off-gassing can occur."

Styrene: 
A derivative of Toluene is a cancer-causing agent and causes adverse reproductive effects. According to Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA), Styrene is primarily a synthetic chemical that is used extensively in the manufacture of plastics, rubber, and resins. About 90,000 workers, including those who make boats, tubs, and showers, are potentially exposed to styrene. Health effects from exposure to styrene may involve the central nervous system and include complaints of headache, fatigue, dizziness, confusion, drowsiness, malaise, difficulty in concentrating, and a feeling of intoxication.

Bis Phenol-A:
Use of bisphenol A in consumer products were regularly reported in the news media in 2008 after several governments issued reports questioning its safety, prompting some retailers to remove products containing it from their shelves. A 2010 report from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) raised further concerns regarding exposure of fetuses, infants and young children.

C.Clark currently pursues goals of becoming an Interdisciplinary Science Publisher. She emerges her strong understanding and applicable grasp for science with her passion for educating and teaching others by providing health and science knowledge to the world.

Columbia University Medical Center’s New York Brain Bank is http://www.nybb.hs.columbia.edu/ where Clark spends her days working by extracting genetic material, RNA (Ribo nucleic acid)  from Alzheimer, Huntington, Parkinson’s brains in order to correlate the RNA integrity (Rin number) and pH quality of the  diseased brains.  Clark uses regions of Broadman area 37 from the human brain.  With Clark’s quantitative data she anaylzes  neurological and post mortem death states that the brain and neurons exist in prior and during  death.  The New York Brain Bank is headed by world renown Dr. Vonsattel at Columbia University.

In 2009 Clark begun graduate school at Pace University http://www.pace.edu in New York pursuing a Master of Science in Publishing. In 2008, as a Researcher Clark joined the Product Development at Threshold Enterprises, LTD. Threshold manufactures vitamins and health supplements. At Threshold Clark formulated various products for brands such as Source Naturals http://www.sourcenaturals.com/ and Planetary Herbals http://www.planetaryherbals.com/. Some of the various products that Clark formulated are Coenzyme Q10, Magnesium Ascorbate with Bioflavonoids, and Cinnamon Extract. 

Clark worked side by side the Chief Executive Officer of Kambucha Botanica http://www.kombuchabotanica.com/ in Santa Cruz, Ca. Here Clark produced and cloned kombucha from bacteria yeast culture.  Clark is an alumnus of University California Santa Cruz where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Biological Science. While Clark majored in Biology as a full time student, she also tutored undergraduate Calculus for three years at University California Santa Cruz (UCSC).  She tutored undergraduate cellular, molecular, developmental biology and inorganic chemistry at UCSC http://www.ucsc.edu .  Clark worked as a Calculus and Trigonometry Instructor for Upward Bound Mathematics and Science Program in the summer of 2004.
